SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - U.S. District Judge Roberto A. Lange sentenced a Brandon, SD woman on drug charges and distribution.
Wendy Faye Stricherz, 49, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release on August 4, 2025.
Stricherz was indicted in January 2024 for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to distribute by a federal grand jury.
She pleaded guilty on May 8, 2025.
The Sioux Falls area drug task force learned Stricherz was traveling to Las Vegas, NV, to pick up methamphetamine.
She proceeded to traffic the meth to others out of her home and at a local bar in Sioux Falls.
In October 2023, investigators served a search warrant on Stricherz’s home.
Investigators then found methamphetamine and distribution materials
