PORTLAND, Ore. — A woman is facing charges after allegedly cutting two TriMet LIFT Paratransit employees on Thursday, Portland police said.
Police officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to a disturbance on a LIFT vehicle on Northeast Glisan Street. The woman, identified as 54-year-old Princess Harris, was "causing a verbal disturbance" and refused to get off, Portland police said.
The LIFT employees are contractors of TriMet, not employees, according to Portland police. The agency operates the shared-ride service for people who are unable to use regular buses and trains due to a disability or disabling health conditions.
