JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR) – Severe weather Friday morning caused multiple issues across the city of Jamestown, including the collapse of of an apartment building roof.
Several trees and power lines were down.
Jamestown residents were being asked to conserve water and limit use of the sanitary sewer system because a power outage caused lift stations to fail.
Strong winds also toppled construction cones and created traffic hazards in areas including 1st Avenue, 10th Street SE, West Business Loop and Highway 281 South.
There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.
