HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Officials say contractors working for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plan to begin a pair of resurfacing projects in McLean County on August 11, which will result in daily lane closures with flaggers along U.S. 431 and KY 56 during the week.

The KYTC says contractors will begin milling operations on U.S. 431 at the 3-5.1 mile points, and along KY 56 at the 4.4-5.5 mile point on Monday. Resurfacing on this slightly more than 1-mile section of KY 56 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, with paving planned on U.S. 431 on Wednesday, weather permitting.

Officials say drivers should expect daily lane restrictions with alternating traffic flow controlled by flaggers during this project.
