SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) - A two-alarm fire caused extensive damage to a home in southeast Salem early Thursday morning.
The Salem Fire Department says crews responded to the fire after multiple 911 calls reporting visible flames coming from the home. Officials did not provide a street address for the fire.
A second alarm was called for the fire, bringing in 15 fire vehicles and several specialty units.
Officials say crews faced a challenging fire in the three-story home, which has rugged terrain in the back of the property. Firefighters used an aerial master stream to help get the fire under control.
No injuries were reported. One person was displaced and is being helped by the Red Cross.
Officials say the estimated property loss is $300,000, with extensive damage throughout the home.
