Elkhart Public Library - Kristen Edson

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Public Library announced Kristen Edson has been hired as the new Executive Director.

Edson will begin her role in the position on Oct. 1

Edson is currently the director at Livonia, Mich. Public Library in the suburbs of Detroit, and earned her master’s degree in library and information science from Wayne State University.

The Elkhart Public Library Board of Trustees said they voted unanimously to hire Edson after a national search.
