GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Green Bay man charged with attempted homicide still waiting for a public defender.
Ray Long, 49, is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Police say he stabbed someone after trying to sell them drugs.
Long appeared in Brown County Court on Friday without an attorney. The court is unable to find a public defender to represent him.
The judge extended the time limit for a preliminary trial, until an attorney can be assigned to him. He remains in jail on a $100,000 bond.
Long will be back in court in September.
