MANAWA, Wis. (WSAW) - Two people are dead and another person was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash in Waupaca County on Friday.

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash that happened at 2:16 p.m. on State Hwy 22/54 and State Hwy 110 in the Town of Royalton. That’s about 8.5 miles southeast of Manawa.

The Sheriff’s Office says a car traveling west on Hwy 22/54 attempted a left-hand turn onto Hwy 110. The car failed to yield to a truck traveling east and crashed.

A secondary crash happened between the truck and another truck, which was stopped at the intersection of Hwy 110.

The driver and passenger in the car were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the eastbound truck suffered a minor injury and was released at the scene.
