Two Kitchener residents are facing drug and weapons charges after police completed search warrant at a residence in the Rosemount area.
Waterloo Regional Police said the warrant was used Thursday near Victoria Street North and Forfar Avenue, where officers seized drugs, including suspected cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone pills, and approximately $2,000.
Police said they also located and seized several weapons, including a shuriken, a sword, a large machete-style knife and ammunition.
A 58-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and unauthorized possession of weapon.
