NAPOLEON, Ohio ( WTVG /Gray News) - A school superintendent in Ohio is accused of crashing a golf cart while driving under the influence.

Fayette Schools Superintendent Angela Belcher was arrested on July 26 after the golf cart she was driving was struck by a truck, police reports said.

According to police reports, officers working at the Napoleon Police Department at about 10 p.m. reported hearing the crash near their building and went outside to check it out.

The driver of the truck involved told officers he was driving slowly and turned left in front of Belcher, but didn’t see her until it was too late because the golf cart’s headlights weren’t on.
