TOWN OF CHENANGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Two men fatally stab each other in the Town of Chenango.

On August 7th, Troopers responded to a report of a stabbing at 1086 Castle Creek Rd in the Town of Chenango at approximately 11:15 PM.

The stabbing allegedly occurred as a result of a confrontation between Harry Swan of Chenango and Jeffrey Ryan of Binghamton. Swan was pronounced dead at the scene. Ryan later succomed to his injuries after being transported to Wilson Hospital in critical condition.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
