SAGINAW, MI — Saginaw residents will have access to free bus transportation and financial education resources during an event celebrating National Financial Awareness Day.

Dow Credit Union is partnering with Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) to host “Money on the Move,” an event scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the STARS Plaza, 615 Johnson in downtown Saginaw.

The event will feature interactive stations staffed by Dow Credit Union financial experts covering topics such as budgeting, credit scores, lending, and the benefits of checking and savings accounts.

Attendees can receive free resources, including a financial literacy booklet, and have chances to win prizes such as wire grocery carts, 30-day STARS passes and Meijer gift cards.
