GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The City of Gainesville will need to find a new city manager after Cynthia Curry tendered her resignation.
On Friday, Curry submitted her resignation letter, setting her final day as November 21, 2025, after 4 years in the position.
In the letter, Curry detailed her accomplishments in the areas of fiscal stewardship, gun violence prevention, public safety, traffic safety, East Gainesville development, downtown development, community investment, civic engagement, and organizational health.
