Improvements to Sherwood Park’s Oak Street will be taking place this month, including repaving a section as well as installing a new roundabout at an intersection.

The construction will be taking place along Oak Street between Beauvista Drive and Sherwood Drive. Access to facilities and residences along Oak Street will be maintained, but detours may be required.

Phase one of the construction is the concrete replacement phase where damaged sections of sidewalk, curb and gutters will be marked and replaced.

Phase two will see road improvements taking place which will extend from the intersection of Beauvista Drive / Brentwood Boulevard to Sherwood Drive. The section of Oak Street will be milled and resurfaced with fresh asphalt.
