PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Bloomington man will be spending time behind bars in connection with gun and drug charges on Thursday.

Dandre Antwan Williams, 36, will spend three years behind bars, followed by three years of supervised release for being a felon in possession of a firearm and distribution of cocaine, a Department of Justice news release said.

According to information provided to U.S. District Judge Jonathan E. Hawley, in April 2024, Williams sold a loaded gun and 48.6 grams of cocaine. Williams was a convicted felon and not allowed to possess a gun at the time.

Williams was indicted in October 2024 and pleaded guilty in March 2025. He has remained in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service since October 2024.
