President Donald Trump lashed out at former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan after he joined the Democratic Party earlier this week.
Duncan, who served as the GOP lieutenant governor of Georgia from 2019 to 2023, revealed in an op-ed for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he will be leaving the Republican Party and joining the Democrats. Duncan has been a fierce critic of the president since Trump falsely claimed that he won the 2020 election.
Trump criticized Duncan in a scathing Truth Social post at about 1 a.m. on Friday.
