CARRINGTON, N.D. — The 2025-26 North Dakota High School sports season started out on a good note for Mylee Michel.

Michel, a senior for the Jamestown High School golf team, shot an 83 at the Turtle Mountain Invite on Friday afternoon to tie for 11th place overall. The Blue Jays will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday hosting the annual East-West Classic at Jamestown's Hillcrest Golf Course and the Jamestown Country Club.

“Mylee had a great tournament," JHS head golf coach Katie Hemmer said. "She was consistent and confident.”

Belle Sjostrom was the Jays' No. 2 finisher with a 93 while freshman Braelyn Wiese carded a 95. Katelyn Monson (98), Autumn Roberts (120) and Elizabeth Hassebrock (126) rounded out the Jays' final three scores.
