DEEP RIVER, CT (WFSB) - A beloved coffee shop in Deep River known for inclusion is closing its doors for good this weekend.
Nest Coffee House customers have been sharing 6 years of memories.
They called the business on Main Street special.
“When my family and I moved to Deep River 4 years ago, we didn’t know a single person,” said Jane Moen, executive director, A Little Compassion. “The Nest was the first place that made us feel welcome and part of the community.”

Moen said the decision to close was based on a tough economy.
She said foot traffic was slower, and bills were higher.
“It was a really tough decision and a loss,” she said.
