Dunleavy appoints Janelle Earls acting commissioner of revenue

Governor Mike Dunleavy has named a new acting commissioner for Alaska’s Department of Revenue.

Janelle Earls will step into the role effective immediately, replacing Adam Crum, who resigned two weeks ago.

The Governor’s office says Earls has been serving as the department’s administrative services director, and before that, she spent more than a decade with Alaska’s Department of Health and Social Services.

Earls will lead the department while the search continues for a permanent commissioner.
