RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol Count District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III said that police were investigating a double fatality after two people were found in a home with gunshot wounds in Raynham on Friday.

Police responded to Elm Street West at noon to find 35-year-old Mark Henshaw and 37-year-old Marie Hunt dead in the bed of the home.

Henshaw had a gunshot wound to the head while Hunt had a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

They both lived at the residence.

Quinn said that there was no sign of forced entry into the home, and two minor children were inside and were unharmed.

There was no threat to the public.
