LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Several law enforcement agencies gathered Friday morning, August 8, to coordinate efforts and raise awareness about safety as the new school year approaches.
Representatives from Laredo Independent School District Police, Laredo Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Webb County Sheriff’s Office, and the Constable’s Office joined forces to remind the community about school bus safety, speed limits, and electronic device regulations in school zones.
With the school year just days away, Laredo ISD officials outlined their key focus areas for this year’s safety campaign.
