CENTER POINT, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — Students in Center Point returned to school Thursday with cheers, encouragement, and a renewed sense of purpose as faculty, parents, and volunteers welcomed them back for the 2025–2026 school year.

The day began with a high-energy pep rally, setting a positive tone for students as they stepped into the new academic year. Principal Dr. Christy Butler said the school is focused on boosting both morale and attendance.

“We’re feeling great,” Butler said. “We’re hoping everyone shows up for the first day. We’re gonna have great learning and lots of fun going on.”
