HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An explosive Harris County Commissioners Court meeting took place on Thursday, marked by insults, raised voices, and issued apologies.
The argument was over Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo's proposed penny tax, which would help fund childcare.

Hidalgo invited several children to attend the meeting, which devolved into commissioners arguing with and reprimanding Hidalgo.
"You said motion," Commissioner Adrian Garcia said.
"No, I didn't," Hidalgo responded.
"Yes, you did," Garcia said.
"OK, well, I take it back," Hidalgo replied.
"This is why education is important," Garcia said, ending the exchange.
