DES MOINES, Iowa —

In 1992, presidential candidate Bill Clinton brought his campaign to the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Despite being two hours behind schedule, the crowd stuck around, enthusiastic to see the Democrat speak in person.

It didn't take long for him to attack his opponent George H.W. Bush.

"Mr. Bush's favorite day of his campaign because today we turn our clocks back an hour, and he's been trying to do that for four years. But no matter how much he turns the clock, he can't change the time," Clinton said.
