OMAHA, Neb. —
The FBI partnered with multiple local agencies in Operation Summer Heat.
The effort helped make more than two dozen arrests on Thursday.
Sixty law enforcement officers, including the U.S. Marshals Service, Omaha police and Douglas County deputies worked together to arrest 28 people, who all had criminal warrants.
The initiative's goal is to put a stop to violent crime.
The FBI said two firearms were seized during the arrests.
