SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The best and brightest in the agriculture industry were on display during Agriculture Day at the Illinois State Fair .

Friday, kids from all over the state participated in the 4-H Expo.

There is everything from horticulture to baking.

"We're very excited about that because we celebrate food and agriculture in the state," said Germán Bollero, Professor, Dean at the University of Illinois College of Aces.

The three-day event in the Orr Building showcases more than 3,000 projects from all across the state. It also shines a spotlight on the next generation.
