GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office says a Greenville man has been busted on drug trafficking and other charges.

The sheriff’s office says they approached 48-year-old Robert Moore in the parking lot of Dollar General on Stantonsburg Road. They say he tried to run but was quickly arrested.

Deputies seized 18.1 grams of fentanyl.

Moore is charged with trafficking opium or heroin and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances.

He’s in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $200,450 bond.
