CHEYENNE — The Laramie County Fair has many moving parts, but the most underrated pieces are the people working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it appear seamless.
One of them is Larry Milbourn, the Laramie County Fairgrounds manager, also known as “the fair guy” by attendees and Archer Complex staff.
Wherever you go on the fairgrounds, you’re bound to catch the man of the hour in his blue polo and mesh back hat running around, whether he’s taking apart pens or helping corral animals. He remembers nearly everyone, and almost everyone remembers him, and they let each other know with a smile and a wave.
