SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A pursuit for change fuels 38-year-old Julian Beaudion's U.S. Senate run.
"A primary reason is that we have folks out here who are really struggling to make it day to day," the Sioux Falls resident said. "And the people out in D.C. are hesitant to stand up for what's right for South Dakotans, and we need an accurate representation of who South Dakotans are."
Republican Mike Rounds, who has not yet officially announced a reelection campaign, currently holds the Senate seat for which Beaudion is running. Rounds has proposed eliminating the federal Department of Education, and here, Beaudion seeks to establish a clear contrast.
