For the second time this week, Oregon’s Little League World Series representative took a tough loss to Washington. This time, it was a 6-1 defeat for Murrayhill in the Northwest Regional finals in San Bernardino, California.
After a scoreless first inning, Washington was able to open things up a little with one run scored in both the bottom of the second and third innings.
But Washington took over completely in the bottom of the fourth inning, as Sawyer Breed hit a two-RBI double and Landon Teafoe hit a two-run home run.
