BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A man is now facing jail time after investigators believe he was selling fentanyl in Bismarck.
Agents with the drug task force say Darnell Lee showed up to North Dakota from Detroit. Investigators used what's known as a 'trap and trace' warrant to follow his cell phone activity.
They believe Lee was staying in an apartment in south Bismarck rented by Jennifer Bowen-Davis. Then, he would walk to sell drugs to people at a nearby bar.
Bowen-Davis was previously arrested and charged with child endangerment, involving fentanyl pills.
Lee was in court this week facing two 'B' felony counts for possession with intent to deliver meth and fentanyl. A judge set his bond at $25,000.
