MANDAN, ND (KXNET) — A woman was in court on Friday to face charges after a vehicle crash back in March that sent her and another man to the hospital.

The crash happened along Expressway in Mandan. North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers went to the scene of the crash and found two people in the vehicle. Troopers also say in the car, they found syringes and a bottle of Farmapram, also known as 'Mexican Xanax.'

Investigators took a blood sample from Katelyn Armstrong, who they say was driving. Recently, a toxicology report indicated Armstrong may have had three serious drugs in her system when the crash happened, including lidocaine, alprazolam, and fentanyl.

Witnesses told troopers they saw the car go off the road near the Memorial Highway exit, hit a signpost and roll.
