DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Every other year, the Farm Progress Show, the world's biggest agricultural fair, returns to Central Illinois. Now, we are less than three weeks away from the start.

Matt Jungmann, the show's National Senior Director of Events, told WAND News, "There's still innovation, there's new product innovations coming out, and there are still things that growers are going to want to come and see just to make sure they're keeping up with the pace and what's new in their business."

The excitement is building among farmers and city leaders as we inch closer to the show's opening.

"It's huge," said Decatur Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe. "It's the world's fair of agriculture, so people from all over the world come here and see a magnificent show, and they also get to see our community.
