PORTLAND, Ore. — An Arizona dog that was stolen after his guardian died was found in Washington four months later.
Dinky was reunited with family this week after he was located in Ridgefield, Washington, on Monday. Family members had spent months circulating his photo on social media, trying to spread awareness of their story in hopes of bringing Dinky home.
The dog's guardian, Steve Cowley, died in Arizona back in April. Cowley's sister, Rhonda Beltran, said her brother had rescued Dinky and cared for him for a decade.
"He did everything with Dinky. He loved this dog like no other," Beltran told KGW.
She said everywhere her brother went, Dinky followed.
