COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police identified a 25-year-old man who was killed in a shooting on the city's southwest side Friday night.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called on a report of a shooting in the 4700 block of Sullivant Avenue just before 11:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located Christopher Santiago-Flores suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at 11:29 p.m.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Jayden Clemente-Flores, was taken into custody and charged with murder.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
