(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Good Saturday morning and welcome to the weekend! After the 2nd hottest July on record, we had the 2nd coldest first week of August on record. However, we will start to warm conditions back up a bit this weekend and through next week as summer makes a return.

Speaking of return, we are expecting the sun to make its welcome return this weekend. It will mix with clouds throughout the day. A comfortable start this morning, with temperatures in the 60s. Expect high temperatures this afternoon to rise into the low to mid-80s.

There will be a spotty shower chance here and there, mainly south of I-85 this afternoon due to incoming tropical moisture. We will remain partly cloudy tonight, with low temperatures falling back into the 60s.
