FARGO — Christopher & Banks, a popular retail chain featuring women's clothing and accessories, is now open at the West Acres Shopping Center.

West Acres had a Christopher & Banks until 2021, when that store and another Christopher & Banks store in the Moorhead Center Mall both closed.

At the time, the company said the closings were part of part of a nationwide decision to go into bankruptcy and liquidate its operations.

All of the company's stores were closed as part of bankruptcy proceedings and iMedia Brands purchased the intellectual property and assets of Christopher & Banks in early 2021.

West Acres announced the store was returning to the mall in a July 8 Facebook post.
