This photograph was taken on July 6, 1909, as cattle were driven across the Main Street bridge in Le Roy from the Keeney farm to the New York Central railroad yard where they were to be loaded onto 15 railroad cars and shipped to New York City.

Another photo shows the cattle coming down tree-lined East Main Street with St. Mark’s Church on the left. A few cattle have strayed over to Trigon Park to graze on the grass.
