BELOIT, Wis (WKOW) -- Beloit police are looking for the individual who hit and killed a 37-year-old man in the early morning hours Saturday. It happened just after 1:45 a.m. at White Avenue and Riverside Drive.

An officer came across a crashed motorcycle at the scene. The other vehicle involved, a blue 1999 GMC Jimmy, had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The GMC was abandoned and later recovered by officers. Police are not revealing the identity of the victim at this time.
