We’re now over two weeks into the Cowboys’ 2025 training camp and getting ready for the first preseason game. Ahead of Saturday night, it’s a good time to refresh the roster projection and see where players stand before they put things on display against the Los Angeles Rams.

How Milton performs in what should be copious amounts of preseason playing time will go a long way to deciding this one. He’s making the team no matter what, but will he be the undisputed backup? And if so, could that send Grier to the practice squad? We’re going to make that change now as a vote of confidence in Milton, and also to see how that extra roster spot could be used.
