The fire service tackled a large blaze at a supermarket petrol station, where plumes of dark smoke could be seen billowing into the sky.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Morrisons in Doncaster at around 10.20am this morning to put out the blaze which has injured one person. The size of the fire , which is believed to have started after a vehicle caught alight, forced crews to evacuate the nearby store in York Road.
Footage of the incident, which has been posted online by motorists, shows the smoke billowing from the petrol station. One person near the scene said the fire involved a van and it lead to a "strong smell" coming from the area.
