PHOENIX – The destructive Dragon Bravo Fire north of the Grand Canyon saw some minor growth on Saturday as containment of the fire remained the same.

It was the third consecutive day with minimal growth, the wildfire was measured at 141,147 acres with 36% containment as of Saturday morning, officials said.

The size was reported at 134,049 with 36% containment the previous morning. Meanwhile, on Thursday the fire had burned 132,309 acres and was at 29% containment.

There is near critical fire weather expected on Saturday. However, there is no Red Flag Warning issued like there was Friday and winds are expected to be calmer. There is low humidity expected until the middle of next week.

On Friday, the fire did spread east toward House Rock Valley but there was expansion north. Fire crews
