SEATTLE — You can call it a perfect catch.
Seahawks fans attending the Tuesday, Aug. 12, training camp day will also get the opportunity to meet Canine Companions in training.
The puppies will be on site at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center along with representatives of the non-profit. People can learn about what it takes to be a " puppy raiser ," which will ultimately benefit a person or facility in need of a service dog.
Lee Cummings, a longtime puppy raiser and president of the Puget Sound Volunteer Chapter, stopped by the KING 5 studios to talk about her experience.
Cummings brought her sixth and current puppy-in-training, two-year-old Scarlett.
Scarlett is set to graduate in October.
