STOCKTON, Calif. —
Over the past two months, several arguments have broken out at Stockton City Council meetings and city leaders have called for at least three investigations into ongoing issues.
Several community members have spoken during these meetings, saying the arguments are dividing the community and are distracting city leaders from other important matters.
KCRA 3 Investigates created a timeline of some of the events that have taken place.
The city says it is currently investigating the spending of $50,000 from a risk mitigation fund . Council members are also asking for at least two additional investigations into what they call deeply troubling matters and alleged budget falsification.
