Jane Morgan, a singer who dazzled audiences across five decades, has died.
She was 101.
According to The Hollywood Reporter , Morgan died of natural causes in her sleep on Monday night. She was in hospice care in Naples, Florida. The site noted that she starred in Paris nightclubs and appeared on “just about every TV variety show of her era” while also having a hit record with “Fascination.”
Morgan recorded 40 albums during her career, the first coming in 1956 and the last coming in 2009. Impressively, The Hollywood Reporter said, Morgan sang in five different languages, a fact that the outlet said made her “a true international star.”
She was a regular on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” and a recurring guest on the “Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson. She also had three of her own television
