Summer construction is making it a little bit harder to ride Metro in Prince George's County, Maryland.

For two weekends, starting this Saturday, five Green Line stations are closed.

The change caught some Metro riders by surprise. Many passengers arriving at the Southern Ave. station Saturday morning didn't know about the closure in advance.

Large, black-and-white signs posted outside the station entrances told passengers about the closure and advertised the free shuttle bus service available instead.
