(WHTM) — Harrisburg's Maclay Street Rite Aid is closing, but that's not the only business that's left the city's Olde Uptowne neighborhood.

"We moved here six years ago, before COVID," said Puja Gellerman, who flagged us down Thursday while we were working on a story about a Rite Aid closure. She is pointing out what has gone wrong along this stretch of Maclay Street, in what is sometimes called the "Olde Uptown" neighborhood of Harrisburg.

"This section here, where Rite Aid's closing, there is an auto shop here that closed in the past year," said Gellerman. "There's a laundromat on the corner. It's been blighted. It said 'Coming Soon' since then."
