BATON ROUGE – LSU football skirted unmitigated disaster earlier this week with the Garrett Nussmeier injury scare .

The Tigers senior starting quarterback reaggravated a preexisting condition in his left knee during the team's practice Wednesday morning and head coach Brian Kelly told reporters following Friday's session that he is dealing with patellar tendonitis.
