HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — The Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival is set to return to Audubon Mill Park in Henderson, Kentucky, celebrating its status as possibly the oldest ongoing free bluegrass festival in the United States.

The festival takes place in a historic setting by the Ohio River, known for its resilience during the 1937 Flood.

The event will kick off Saturday, August 9, 2025, with performances from 8 a.m. to 10:50 p.m., featuring acts like Maggie Hollis, Mackville, and the Tennessee Bluegrass Band.

"With your support, we're dedicated to maintaining this legacy," the festival organizers said.

The festival has become a premier summer event, drawing attendees from all 50 states and across the globe, including Europe, Oceania, and South America.
