COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A months-long joint investigation between several law enforcement agencies has resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old man.

According to CPD, Joshua Alexander, 34, was arrested in a joint operation involving the Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit and the ATF.

On Thursday, August 7, investigators executed a search warrant, leading to the collection of the following:

3,428.2 grams of methamphetamine – estimated street value $154,269

23.3 grams of cocaine – estimated street value $1,165

$2,450.00 in U.S. currency

Springfield XD 9mm firearm

Alexander is charged with the following:

Trafficking Methamphetamine

Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute

Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Crime

Possession of a Firearm by a Convic
